QuestionHelp! My favorite car won't start. It turns over fine, started yesterday, ran great, then...I stopped, turned off the engine and ran an errand. When I came back, the car started but just barefly ran. Then it died, then it would start and run for a few seconds then die. It did this once before and after sitting for 3 - 4 days, started and ran fine. I replaced the fuel filter, no help, and the coil, no help. What else could it be? Thanks in advance for helping me fix my favorite car.
AnswerIt could be a lot of things.
The basic tests you need to do are for spark quality, fuel pressure, and compression.
If all those are in order, its time to get technical with the relays and electronics.
I own 4 e30 325's and would like to help but you need to give me a little more info.
