BMW Repair: sorry about the dumb question, amp fuses, lighting module

Question
Hi Ronald
You helped me before.  Last night the left side of my headlights went off hi an lo.  I think it is the fuse.  I looked under the glove box but there doesn't seem to be a headlight fuse on the map.  I called a few places but they weren't sure if it was in the glove box, under the hood or under the driver's seat.  Can you please help me?  Thank you so much again !!!!  I have a 1999 323i no xenon.

Answer
There are no separate fuses for the left and right headlights. The lighting module is feed by two main 50 amp fuses (f106 and f107) and two small fuses (f9 and f32).
The problem is probably in the lighting switching center which is not user serviceabe. The module can only be checked with special tools and if defective a new one has to be coded for your car with special scanner and software.
Hope you know a good BMW shop.
