BMW Repair: Battery drain, windshield wipers, alternater

Question
"My battery is constantly being drained by some source. At first, it would only go dead if it hadn't been driven in 2-3 days. Now, it won't keep a charge overnight. The battery will take a full charge. What could be wrong?

Also, I have an electrical malfunction that happens when driving. On occasions, with no particular pattern, the needles on the gauges dip down and go right back to normal. On rarer occasions, they dip and the lights come on as if the engine were restarted. Sometimes the windshield wipers work, and sometimes they don't, or they go fast when on slow, etc. Sometimes when I turn my blinker on it makes the needles dip.

I have no repair history as such.
Battery was replaced in September.

Answer
Sound like two problms but they may be related.  The dash etc problem may all be due to a bad body ground the they all share and is being overloaded. The clusters arwe also known to act that way due to internal failure.
The battery problem might be related if the alternater is acting up. A thourgh check of the charging system and a draw check will be needed.
