BMW Repair: Fuel Pump Bad?, fuel level sensor, fuel pump relay

Question
I have a '90 325IS
Getting no fuel.
All fuses are good and installed new relays.
Fuel pump is not pumping in car, but when removed and I hook up 12V direct it pumps fine.
Could pump still be bad?
I also checked OHMed the fuel level sensor and it is working properly.

Answer
I am not too familiar with this 3 series, but it could be the DME (engine control unit). I don't know if this has a fuel pump relay, but if it does and you replaced it, it could be a faulty DME. The DME is responsible for many engine operating controls and one function is to send a signal to power the fuel pump.
