BMW Repair: wont start, air flow meter, fuel pump filter

Question
have 1987 bmw 325 that wont start have put on new external fuel pump & filter  and drained tank & installed new fuel but still cant get any fuel to filter also installed new pump relay and still no fuel any ideas?

ok i got an answer it might be the air flow meter, because i have a 1986 bmw 325e and the air flow meter was messed up so it was sending the wrong signals to the computer( meaning at times it would send to much fuel or non at all) if u do need a new one they cost around 350 dollars
