GMC Repair: dome lights 07 gmc savanna, gmc savanna, fuse block


Question
dome lights don't work at all.not with doors or dash cntrl.all fuses are good.no bk up lights either.cant seem to locate door switches.are they thoes slides under the rear doors? i got some stuff wedged in between one of em.i do alot of svc work at night hope yoy can help.... its driving me nuts      THANKS

I looked at the schematic. The voltage for the back up (reverse) lamps is supplied by the TBC 2 fuse 18 in the under hood fuse block. This fuse also supplies voltage for the courtsey lamps (interior lights) I would double check this fuse. If not I would check all the related wiring from the fuse box into the van for any open circuit. The only other common item in the circuit is the BCM (Body Control Module). Before damning that module, which can get expensive, I would at that point have all the related wiring to the BCM  checked before replacement.
