GMC Repair: 98 Blazer S10 4 door 4WD, turn signal flasher, o reilly auto parts

Question
I have a 98 Blazer S10 4 door 4WD I get a repeated "clicking" sound from the passenger kick panel area. Initially, I thought a turn signal flasher- about that cycle frequency. My mileage seems poor and slow speed turns are sometimes cumbersome. It seems the vehicle is in 4WD.

The 2W indicator extinguishes on it's own, so that none are illuminated sometimes.

Lately, the "clicking" has become a rapid "buzzing", like something is shorting. No electrical smells, however. In searching for the turn signal flasher,I found the TCCM (15741322), and now suspect this might be the issue. How would I diagnose?

Also, while I have things apart, only the door speakers appear to be working- no dash and no rear door. It is a GM factory 6 speaker CD system with what appear to be substantial door speakers, but no Bose label. Anything to look for?

Thanks,

Answer
I would double check the wiring harness to the radio. Pull the faceplate, ensure the harness is intact, connected/seated properly. You will need to pull all speaker panels to ensure all wiring is connected. Check the panels in the rear to find the amp and make sure things are good there too. Check all fuses.

As for the flasher relay. They are cheap. I would just replace it. Just a side note, electrical issues are the nemesis to any/every mechanic I know. If you go to O'reilly auto parts and/or AutoZone, they will scan it for free. We need a starting point.
