GMC Repair: oil leak, bellhousing, c3500

I have a 96 c3500 and it has developed a oil leak on the left side of the motor[7.4] and down the bellhousing to the ground, leaks steady and will leave a large puddle if left running! do I have to remove the top of the intake to see the oil sending line? It looks like this could be the problem, but not sure..

unfortunately you will have to pull the intake if you do not want to fight. I would pull the intake if it were me. when you put the intake back on make sure you do three different torques. 6 in/lbs., 40 in/lbs. and 106 in/lbs. when doing this go clockwise or CCW.
