GMC Repair: 1999 Buick Century multifunction signal switch replacement and part, negative battery cable, high beams

Question
QUESTION: How difficult is it to replace a signal switch and approximately how much is the part? We were told that we would need something called a wheel puller. Then we were told the part would be around $350 because it includes the harnesses. We are very confused, because we found a multifunction switch for around $70 but it had no harness with it? I also can't locate a wheel puller, if we in fact do need one. Our problem is that the high beams will not stay on unless you hold them on. We would appreciate any help or clarification. Thanks!

ANSWER: the multi-function switch is actually the entire turn signal lever, you will need a steering wheel puller to access it, dealer price is around $350.00 for that part and it does include the harness.

QUESTION: Thanks so much for your response. I have located the part. I know I have to disconnect the battery, do I have to worry about the horn set up after I take the airbag out? Could you please either give instructions on how to replace this part or tell me where I can find them?
