GMC Repair: sunroof leak, roof leaks, heavy rain

We have had our 2010 GMC for just a couple months.  I noticed recently after a very heavy rain that the sunroof has a leak.  It appears there was a defect in the molding around the glass. The dealer checked it and will replace the molding ASAP. My question is; when the roof leaks like that on a new vehicle does the water run out of the 'drains' or does it pool under my roof? We have the entertainment system that comes down from the roof in the back and I'm worried about any damage this may cause.

the water should drain into the sunroof drains that run down the front door pillars, if you see any wetness near the overhead entertainment center i would have the dealer thoroughly inspect it for any water damage, as well they should make sure the sunroof drains are operating as designed
