QUESTION: umm i believe it's very stiff because you can drive but when it comes to turning you can't turn
ANSWER: typically on that vehicle the power steering pump shaft breaks off inside the pump causing there to be no power steering pressure. Only other thing to be sure of is that the truck is not in 4 wheel drive low, that can also cause the truck to steer ackward.

QUESTION: umm some one told me that it might be that i changed the battery a day before also ummm it doesn't say nothing is it okay?
AnswerHighly unlikley it is the battery, that would only be true if you had electric steering which i am 100% sure you do not have as it was not an option. You need to find someone that can check the power steering pump pulley to see if it is broken, husband, boyfriend, neighbor, all you need is a long screwdriver, pry behind the power steering pump pulley if it slides forward you need a new pump and will not have power steering until you replace it.
