GMC Repair: Hydro-boost leak, shade tree mechanic, power steering fluid

Question
I have a 2001 GMC 2500HD with 8.1L - Great truck, virtually no issues but recently a leak has developed between the booster and the master cylinder.  Not bad, but has developed a little trail of oil down the inside of the fenderwell.  Wondered first if that's common, if it's the seals/rings in the Hydro-boost and if there is a rebuild kit available for them.  Also wondered how bad it would be for a shade-tree mechanic to replace (do i need to bleed brakes or can i get the hydroboost out from between the firewall and master cylinder without disconnecting the brake lines)  I've not noticed any degradation in brake performance so it's not that bad (yet).
Thanks,

Answer
to my knowledge there is no rebuild kit for the hydroboost, I have replaced many of them for leaks.  It is not too bad to get out, you hace to disconnect the brake switch, remove the nuts for the master cylinder, and pull as far as you can safely out of your way, there are 4 nuts inside the truck that hold the hydroboost onto the firewall, those need to come off, as well as the power steering lines, the fluid you are seeing is power steering fluid.  You would not see as much an issue with the brakes as you would the steering due to the leak.
