GMC Repair: 94 GMC Starts and Dies, fuel pump relay, vandura

Question
I have a GMC 2500 Vandura with a 5.7 V8 a/c p/s.No ck eng light. That said it was running fine for about an hour around town,on my 15 minute ride home it started to lose power but I was able to keep it running by feathering the gas pedal. I made it to my home. It starts right up but idles momentarily and dies. Starts right up again I can keep it running by feathering the gas pedal.I can get to rev to 4k rpm
I changed the fuel filter.Looked at Throttlebody Im thinking vacum prob.

Have you check the fuel pump relay/ If it is not that its the fuel pump/ but keep in mind if you live in the north and snow and cold because of the yr check the lines and wiring / I was coming thru pennsylvania and all of a sudden it did that And it was the wiring it rusted out. So check that as well. good luck Joe
