GMC Repair: 2000 chevy silverado, wd 40, chevy silverado

I have a silverado that I just replaced the ignition cylinder in and it was working fine until I turned the key back to accessary. Now the key won't go to the start or run position feels like it is hitting something, any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

put some wd 40 in the cylinder the try jiggle the steering wheel than try moveing key if that does not work / call the person who put it in it may be a sleeve not working when you try turning the key Mike how did that work.
