GMC Repair: 98 Pontiac Grand Am problem, mechanic shop, reputable shop

Question
Recently put 2 new alternators in, and battery is fully charged but when driven the car lights fade, flicker and the car eventually dies if given no gas.  When the car is turned on after this the idle is eratic.  Could this have been an electrical problem and not the alternator?  And if so, how difficult would it be to replace the wiring between the alternator to the starter and the wire from the battery to the relay?  If this is the problem.

Answer
Hi
Sounds to me like you MAY have a different issue.
I would take it to a GOOD reputable shop and have it properly diagnosed. I could throw out guesses to you here, but it could be a thousand different things. My recommendation is to have it properly diagonsed and repaired by a good mechanic shop.
God bless
