GMC Repair: 05 Tahoe Blower/Resistor front, pig tail, 5 steps

I have an 05 Tahoe WITHOUT 5 steps on the blower control it has a reostat type blower control, driver and passenger.  Resistor garbage, bought updated resistor, and pig tail.  Original has +,- and input.  New tail has 7 prongs (spades) I have read the entire TSB, researched for a period of time. Doubled checked with the back counter.  How is this supposed  to be wired?  Connections???  Any help would be appreciated. Am I to use only one of the remaining 5 wires as the input?  Thank you.  Rick

I think the parts department may have sold you the wrong part for your vehicle.
The bulletin is for mostly  trucks with manual air (Not Auto). The auto uses the blower module, like yours and not the resistor.
They should be able to look this up from your VIN. Bring them the old module also, it MAY assist them in getting the correct part.
