GMC Repair: 2003 Yukon HVAC Blower not working properly, blower motor resistor, climate control system

Question
I have two issues:

First, I have a dual climate control system and the blower on the front will turn on high when it feels like it and not turn off even after the vehicle is turned off.  This has led to my battery dying, so I just pulled the blower fuse to turn it off.  When I go on long trips I put the fuse back in but now that its winter my wife is a little upset in not having heat when she travels around town.  The AC and heat work it just seems like the blower is not working properly.

My second issue is reversed for the rear HVAC;  the HVAC blower works but it only blows AC and no heat.

I appreciate any help to lead me in the right direction and save me some money.  Thanks

Answer
Hi
The first issue is MOST likely the Front Blower Motor resistor going bad.
It is located right next to the blower motor, under passenger side below glove box, it'll have 7 wires (i think) going into it and 2 wires out to blower  motor.
The rear MAY be a stuck actuator located on the rear HVAC assembly. The best for the rear would be to have the Rear HVAC scanned for codes at a local repair shop.
The codes will assist GREATLY in the diagnosis of the rear HVAC system. If you get the code(s), I'll be able to assist further.
I hope this helps
