GMC Repair: Headlight replacement 2005 Jimmy, gmc jimmy, headlamp switch

Question
How do I remove the light assembly to replace a burnt out headlight? I have removed two screws at the top of the assembly but it does not come out enough to replace the lamp.

Here is the EXACT procedure from GM SI.

Ensure that the headlamp switch is in the OFF position.
Ensure that the ignition switch is in the LOCK position.
Remove the headlamp assembly retainers by pulling up and outward.
Disconnect the lamp electrical connectors.
Remove the headlamp assembly from the vehicle.
Push and rotate the bulb 1/4 turn counterclockwise in order to remove the bulbs from the headlamp assembly
