GMC Repair: Dome lights wont come on in 1999 GMC Jimmy, fuse block, electrical center

Question
Hello, I have a GMC 1999 2 door SLS Blazer, 2 Wheel drive. mysteriously my dome lights, glove compartment, and visor lights stop working. The under hood light doesn't' t work either after I changed blub. A day ago lights worked. The under hood light never worked since i brought car used 2 yrs ago and today changed light bulb and still does not work. I have checked fuses based on manual and looked for charred bulbs, found none. I also tried manually to start lights. All other exterior, panel, and cigarette ligher works. Anyone has clue what's wrong?

Answer
Hi
If the CTSY LP fuse is good, make sure it is getting hot with a test light.
If so the circuits go into the BBEC (Body Bussed Electrical center) From there it splits off to all the lamps you mention.
The BBEC is  located To the left of the dash, to the right of the IP Fuse Block. It is just a large connector with a few realys in it.
It is VERY possible this could be at fault.
It will need a little extra diagnosis to double check and be sure thats what it was.
I Hope this helps.
