GMC Repair: 2001 GMC Sierra SLT Z71, gmc sierra slt, fuel level sensor

Question
The power seat on the driver side is not working.  The Power lumbar control adjacent to the controls is working fine.  Do you know if this is a common problem on these models?  The Fuel Gage has gone wacky also.  IT will change from empty, to full, back to empty and so forth.  While I'm sure it is a sensor of some sort, any idea how B$G of a repair this might be?  Any Suggestions?

Answer
Hi
The seat is PROBABALLY the adjuster assy, as the motors are not replaceable, well their not avalible from GM individually.
MAY want to check a Salvage yard for seat riser/adjuster assy.
Fuel Level sensor is PROBABALLY your gauge fault.
It is located inside tank and MAY or MAY not be avalible seperate, MOST are, but some are not.
If it is part APPROX. $100-150 USD labor 2.5-3.5 hours depending on tank size etc...
If NOT avalible seperate part $350-500USD, same labor.
Now those prices are APPROX and that will be GM or Delco parts...you may find them cheaper at aftermarket store or online.
I Hope this helps.
Please follow post back, if needed.
Sorry for the delay
