GMC Repair: 98 Lesabre Limited Blower Motor Not Working, blower motor resistor, automatic climate control

Question
Back on April 1st of this year you diagnosed a similar problem for someone. The problem is the blower motor was working erratically and now has stopped working on my 98 Lesabre with automatic climate control. I located the blower control module you described but my car has total of 4 wires, 3 in one plug and 1 in another plug. In your message to the previous person you said to check for a signal to the control module. My question is how do I check for the signal, and which wires? Is the signal just a DC voltage or do I need a special tester?

Thanks for your help.

Answer
Hi
The blower motor resistor connector C1 terminal B and ground should be 12v.
Between C1 term. B and C should be 12V
Between C2 term. B and ground should be 6V
If all check out, the blower motor resistor (control Module) is faulty.

Hope this helps.
Sorry for the delay
