GMC Repair: Intrument Cluster is not working, auto electronics, fourms

The guages in my instrument cluster in my 2001 Suburban started to flip on and off and several warning lights also appeared about 2 weeks ago.  it would usually self correct after a few miles.  The the intruments seldom work.  Any ideas?

It is PROBABALLY the cluster at fault.
You could take it to a repair shop and see if there is any codes.
The cluster should probabally need to be replaced.

I have seen and heard that there is a connection internal on the cluster that gets loose (bad solder). I do NOT know if it causes this type concern. ALl I can tell you is to replace the cluster.
I Do not get into clusters, thats not my line of buisness, but you MAY be able to post on maybe some other GM fourms, or check with some local guys in your area (Auto Electronics type places) who MAY know if it is an easy fix.
Or if your that mechanically skilled you may find it.
