GMC Repair: fuel pump problems, rear crossmember, voltage readings

Question
I have a 1998 Tahoe 5.7L with 135,000 miles. The fuel pump quit working. Fuses look good. Replaced the relay with no change. Assumed it was the fuel pump and replaced the fuel pump assembly-did not replace the pigtail. This one isn't working either. I didn't take voltage readings or anything at the old pigtail. Am I missing something else? Drove it to work, shut it off and now have nothing. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

Answer
Hi
Can you hear the pump running key on engine off? If so,you DO NOT have an electrical issue.
If not,  check the ECMB Fuse first. I would then check the pass through harness on the pump module itself. (Probabally the pigtail your referring to)The one that passes through the top of pump.
If you get it back down that far, check for voltage on the gray wire.
Check grounds also. (G404 located close to the rear crossmember)
If more help needed, please follow post back.
Good Luck
