GMC Repair: 1986 gmc 6.2 lit transmission, trasmissions, trans shop

I have a 1986 GMC 6.2 lit 1/2 ton truck, I have gone through 4 trasmissions in the last 5 years, now i need to put another transmission in again, does anymake a heavey duty transmission i can put in this truck.

Check with your local trans shop, see if they can help.
Check around. I would even maybe  find out if the same part is failing, and if so see if a more robust part is avalible from different sources.
If not and they are all different faults, ask the trans mechanic do build one for you. Make sure the alignment of engine/trans is good.
These are just suggestions.
