GMC Repair: power steering and brakes, power steering pumps, power steering pump

both my power steering and power brakes have stoped working simoltainously. There is no fluid leak. I have a 1997 GMC Safari minivan with a 6 clyn. 4.2 engine. Just had new fuel pump and a/c compressor and evaporator replaced 3 weeks ago.

I would guess you have HydroBoost.. which is why the steering and brakes went out. ( HydroBoost = The power brakes are assisted by power steering pressure fluid, instead of engine vacuum)
I would guess low Power steering pump pressure...either the power steering pump is bad and not pumping, or the belt is slipping.
I can say the 4.3L power steering pumps are fairly a common problem, so that would be my best guess.
