GMC Repair: Speaker Problems for 2003 Envoy, power window switch, rear hatch

Question
I have a 2003 GMC Envoy and both of the rear speakers aren't working.  The settings are fine on the head unit  What should I do next?  I would take the door panels off, but I don't see any screws and I don't want to break the them off.  Any help would be greatly appreciated

Answer
Hi
I am assuming the rear speakers in the rear doors? or the rear hatch?
If the rear doors, there are 2 7mm screws located under a cover where you put your havd to pull the door shut. You'll see it about 2 inches long and just as wide as the hand opening.
Remove those 2 screws. Remove the cover around the door handle (clipped in).
Remove the power window switch and unplug the switch.
Then the door panel is just clipped in with plastic "christmas tree" clips (door panel clips).
You'll need to lift up slightly to get the top off the top of door.
It goes back on just that easy!
I hope this helps.
Let me know if the rear cargo door is what you need.
Good Luck
