Question
well i have a chevy malabu 98 model with a 2.4L twin cam engine with 184,000 miles on it and i was driving it the other day and all at once it started missing and loss of power and vibrating. well got it to house and checked the codes on it and there was only one code it gave and it was misfiring and nothing else. also i tried to start it and its hard to start and it bucks and sputers like it sliped time so i took off the cover and the chain looks ok and stuff so what else could this be and what all thing could i check and thank you for helping me

Answer
Hi
On this particular engine I would suspect the Coil Housing and or the 2 coils.
They are VERY COMMON for producing the faults you describe.
Both are located under the Aluminium Engine cover, on top of engine.
Hope this helps.
Just advice from experience.
Good Luck
