GMC Repair: citroen engine, citroen saxo, head gasket

i have bought a citroen saxo and it has had a new head gasket fitted and it is making a tapping noise from the tappets? what sholud we do to repair it? is it anything to do with the head gasket?

I am a GMC technician, I think you may have picked me by mistake.
I can tell you though, OIL PRESSURE will cause valve train noises like the one you describe.
As stated I am not very familiar with Citroen engines, so I do not know if the Head gasket has a "right side up".
