GMC Repair: gmc wont start, oxygen sensor, oilchange

Question
I have a 1992 gm x, wasn't running very well so i replaced wires cap roter button,  started first click, after 5 min stalled and wouldn't restart, replaced oxygen sensor, temp sensor, oilchange from flooded gas., did a compression test and was all around 130, checked for spark and has it , tried adjusting timing, new fuel filter, and has to be getting guess to flood so bad,  still won't start but seems like it wants to... don't know what else to do

Answer
Hi
First thing I would check is fuel pressure.
If it is a full size truck with a V-8 it HAS to have 9-13 psi to start and run. No more, no less. 1 PSI or more either way and it WILL NOT start and run.
The fuel presssure really should be checked.
If it is flooded this bad, it is possible the spark plugs are fuel fouled, and will need to either be removed and cleaned, or replaced.
I would,
1)check fuel pressure..... 9-13psi no more, no less.
then
2)replace plugs with Delco plugs for this application.
This is JUST advice from experience.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck
