GMC Repair: Chevy Blazer Electrical Problem..., chevy blazer, washer motor

Question
I recently brought my car (03 Blazer LS 4.3) to a garage with a problem they diagnosed as transmission problem. What was happening was the abs light was coming on and the parking brake light was flashing and it wouldnt shift to 2nd or 3rd gear. They replaced the transmission and when i just picked it up today they said that the window washer motor was going on its own, the radio and clusters power works as it wants and that they had to pull fuses for my parking lights, brake lights, turn signals and a few others because theres a drain on the battery. I'm wondering if they may have messed something up when installing the new transmission because this problem did not exist prior to me bringing it in. Or is it something that could have happened prior to the transmission and just behappening now and what could it be like computer problem or what and how much might it cost to repair?

Answer
Hi
My best advice to you is to take it back, and tell them to FIX whatever they did.
If it was NOT doing any of these things you say before you brought it to them, I can think of NO REASON the R&R of a transmission could create these problems.
I cannot believe that a shop would allow your vehicle to leave in worse condition than it was.
Just advice from experience.
Good Luck
