GMC Repair: oil leak, chevy taho, pan gasket

my 95 chevy taho 5.7 leaks oil when it is idelling i can smell
oil burning as it falls on the exhust pipe could it be my intake manifold, i already changed the valv cover gasket's
pleas help.

Yes it could be the intake gaskets.
It COULD be the oil pan gasket.
Best advice, take it to a pressure car wash. spray the UNDERSIDE of engine. Get a bottle of ENGINE Oil Dye and add it to the oil.
then next time it leaks, check the underside with a black light if posssible, to determine the EXACT location of leak.
You could take it to a repair shop and have this done, also.
Most will add the dye and check with light for a very nominal charge and possibily free.
