QuestionHi,I have 99' 5.7L yukon denali and my power door locks only worked when they felt like it,i brought it to the dealer and they couldnt figure it out, they said they think its the bcm and that it could be shorting out,oh yeah it never has problems unlocking just locking,but now it doesnt lock at all only unlocks.I can hear the bcm clicking but the locks wont go down.Any ideas?

sorry for the delay.
I checked and I cannot find a 99 Denali.
I found a 2000, but not a 99.
That being said,most of this data SHOULD be accessible through the BCM data stream.
They should be able to see the BCM recieving the input from the switch and they should see the output on a different screen.
That being said, the BCM should not be clicking. It is just suppling current for the actuators.
There is a lock relay and an unlock relay.
They also are tied into a Door Lock Inversion module.
Are ALL the locks not working (including rear cargo door?)
I would check the Lock relay.
