GMC Repair: 1992 Suburban, rotor coil, fuel pump filter

Question
It starts up and dies out, over and over.  Is it the fuel pump, filter, or something totally different?  Everything else is fine, less than 200K miles, scheduled oil changes, and maintenance

Answer
Hi
Check fuel pressure should be 9-13 psi. If either to high or to low, it will cause your condition. Could also be fliter (low flow)
Check fire, make sure it is not loosing fire. If so could be Distributor cap/rotor/coil/coil wire.
Could be the Pole piece in distributor. Could be the ignition module.
Could be a vacuum leak choking out engine.
This is a list of things to check.
Have these checked. If still exhibits problem, follow up and I'll help as much as possible.
JUST advice from experience.
Good Luck
