GMC Repair: 1998 GMC Savanna 1500, gmc savanna, upper radiator hose

Question
when starting, the gauges: oil, fuel, etc. act erratic. Even while driving they appear to be "vibrating". Where should I begin looking to solve this? Any info you provide is deeply appreciated. Thanks, Mark.

Answer
Hi
I checked all sources i have and I do not see anything in common with all these systems, except G101 a ground wire that is bolted to the engine, on top close to the Thermostat housing (Upper radiator hose is at this location)
You could check this ground, make sure it is clean and tight.
Only other things I could think would be either a faulty cluster (internal fault) or the guages themselves are just worn out or loose. Really no fix, except replacement of the entire cluster. I honestly could not say that would be a for sure fix either.
I really wish I could help more
Hope this helps
Just advice from experience.
Good luck
Paul
