GMC Repair: Wont turn over with key, gmc sierra, solenoid

Hello!My 1996 GMC Sierra would not turn over. Shorted starter-turned over. Went all the way to ignition switch and shorted yellow to red (per schematic)-turned over fine.Replaced switch-no help. Discovered switch in crank positon caused loss of ground on start relay(not solenoid)??

Make sure the ignition switch is timed properly.
If it is out of time, it will create the problem you describe, as long as all your other shorted wires are repaired.
Check the "crank" fuse. It feeds the relay.
