GMC Repair: broken fuel linkage cable replace, fuel linkage, gmc safari

my fuel linkage cable broke at the pedal and the cable pulled out from the pedal when it broke.how hard is it to replace the cable system. 2000 gmc safari.

Looks fairly straight forward.
My advise, though would be to remove the Engine Cover (dog house) before starting looks like that would give you alot more of much needed room.
just unhook from pedal, squeeze clips to pass it through the firewall, unhook from cable bracket and then unhook from Throttle assy.
Installation is reverse of removal.
