GMC Repair: ignition switch, grant steering wheel, gmc 1500

i was wondering if you can tell me how to pull the ignition wwitch from the steering wheel coloum, do i have to have any special tools, i have a 94 gmc 1500 w tilt steering. has a grant steering wheel, but can i change it w/out pulling the steering wheel. sorry for the inconvience

Hello
U will need theft sochets to do this they are costly.
but what you do is remove the colluier than you will see theft screws that s when you need them .
then you put the key in eng switch just like you were starting the car then u eill see a pin hole ust a papper clip to push the pin in the switch will pull out .
