GMC Repair: CYLINDERS NOT FIRING, crankshaft position sensor, chevy suburban

Question
I HAVE A 93 CHEVY SUBURBAN 1500. MY NUMBER ONE AND FOUR CYLINDERS ARENT FIRING. IM THINKING THE VALVES ARE BURNT. HOW WOULD I FIX  THIS IF SO. WILL I HAVE TO GET THE HEADS CLEANED. THANKS IN ADVANCE

Answer
I think you have a problem with your ignition system. You may want to look at your crankshaft position sensor and see if it has any damage or build up on it.

If you do have burnt valves than you will find out by doing a compression test. If you do have low comression then yes you will have to remove the heads and bring them to a machine shop to be repaired.

If you need anymore detailed information contact me again and I will do what I can, I cannot get to these questions as often as I would like but I will try.
