GMC Repair: brakes, gmc jimmy, wheel speed

Question
I was wondering I know should have it tried again but it to dealer once. My 1997 Gmc Jimmy has very mushy brakes like most anti locks But when on ice or snow the right front brake activates anti locks and will not stop my jimmy it makes a lot of noise and keeps going I have to let off and try to brake again. Would unpluging the 10 amp brake fuse stop this the brake are set up the same it must be front anti lock sensor and I do not want to replace that costly thing just drive it a little bit in winter.

Answer
If you unplug the brake fuse then your vehicle will not have the ability to use the anti-lock feature. I would advise you to bring it into your local dealer and have them diagnose it. If they have already informed you that it is the wheel speed sensor then that must be replaced. I do not recommed you doing anything to disable your ABS system like unpluging the fuse, that could be very dangerous on snowy roads.
