GMC Repair: cam position sensor, position sensors, electrical harness

i have replaced 5 (five) cam position sensors in a 1988 buick, 3.8 liter engine in the past year. am i getting bad sensors or some other mechanical problems.

I do not know which type you have, But it sounds as though you are not adjusting it correctly.

However, I do not know what is wrong with the sensor ?. is it physically damaged, Sensor does not test correctly, Intermittent short in electrical harness. ?.

WHY are you having to replace them ?. Also which TYPE do you have ?. Send me a picture at:
