GMC Repair: air conitioner blowing hot, autohelp, reverse situation

Question
I have a 1999 trailblazer le. When I turn the thermostat down it contines to blow hot air. It will blow cool air for about 5 or 10 seconds then extremely hot air for a minute or so then repeats the cycle. I was having a problem last fall but only the reverse situation. They blew out a pipe and made it heat then. I have had it checked out and they cant find the problem meanwhile i am roasting. It will not even shut off when I turn everything off. Please help.    Thank you

Whatever they did last year is most likely also related to your current problem. They may have adjusted the damper door last FALL so that it would not CLOSE all the way as it normally should so this would provide you with the HEAT that you wanted.

Now that you need the A/C they will have to readjust the damper door controller or whtever they adjusted last year but this time adjust it in REVERSE.
