GMC Repair: 2000 Regal stereo, buick regal gs, seperate unit

Question
I have a barely driven 2000 Buick Regal GS w/ the works and it has one of those cd/tape stereo systems in it, which from what was I told when I bought it back in 2003. And it wasn't till recently that i decided to use the tape player,so when I stuck the tape in it wouldn't play nor eject the tape. I would take to the dealers shop but my warranty just ran out,so that means I would have to pay alot to get repaired. Can tell me how to fix this problem on my own.

Answer
Unfortunately there is no way of self repairing the tape player unless you have radio repair expertise as ANY forceable manuevers to try and pick out or force out the tape will ONLY result in causing more damage to the player.

If your particular system has the tape player BUILT-IN to the radio, The radio will have to be removed and sent out for repair.

If your particular system has a SEPERATE unit that mounts UNDER the radio for the tape player you will have to remove this SEPERATE unit and send it out for repair.

I wish I had better news for you, But there just is none.
