What STYLE of controls are on this vehicle for the HEAT and A/C operation ?.

Do you have a lever that you slide from the COLD to the HOT position or is it all electronic push buttons?.

Your problem is most likely with the operation of the DAMPER DOOR that opens and closes to provide full heat or no heat.

autohelp  The controls for the heat and A/C are knobs that you turn right or left.  There is no lever that slides to open the damper.  Thanks Al Papino

Answer
If memory serves, Take a look behind the glove box liner, You will most likely have to remove the small phillips head screws in order to remove the liner and look in thru the opening and upward towards the inside of the windshield, You should see a small plastic arm attached to a metal rod , This metal rod is your DAMPER DOOR of which opens and closes thus allowing heat to pass thru the heater ducts.

Are BOTH heater hoses HOT to the touch when the engine is at normal operating temperature ?.

As you adjust your climate control panel from HOT to COLD this metal rod should move back and forth, Does it ?.

If you have the ability to take digital pictures and e-mail them please do so of the components under the dash and of the components behind the glove box.

the manufacturer keeps changing the climate control components each year and every model vehicle is DIFFERENT and is it hard to keep up with the changes, So pictures are VERY informative.

QUESTION: Has there been ANY type of work performed on the vehicle within the last few months and if so WHAT was done.

Besides having NO heat, Are you getting any air flow from the correct vents when you select DEFROST, FLOOR HEAT, A/C ?.

The most common faults are:

1. Loss of engine vacuum from the small vacuum hose that is attached to the intake manifold and passes thru the firewall into the PROGRAMMER located behind and beneath the glove box on the passengers side.

2. A faulty heater/-A/C PROGRAMMER.

3. A faulty programmer control motor.
