Question - this car has not got a cam sensor or crank as i already checked. its distributor is like an old type astra but with 2 plugs going into it.the two pin plug has only 5 volts coming out of it and zero the other and compared to another daewoo i have sitting beside it it reads 12 volts coming out of both of them. i changed the ecu and immobilizer units over and the key with the ring that is located to the key  barrel to send done the signal to the ecu and imobilizer but still no joy. if there is a crank sensor i sure cannot find it as it would usual be round the crank pully like the astras .gallon of petrol and a box of matches my be the answer. A.TEMP
i have a daewoo 1.5 gli nexia which is simular to the gmc motors. i changed the head gasket and it now has lost the spark.i changed coil, distributor.power is going to the coil and power going to distributer and injectors but does not flood the plugs when turning over and the fuel pump operates when ignition is switched on.has the immobilizer packed in.help please if u have come across this.

My experience is very linited for a Daewoo. However, what I suspect is that you do not have the CRANK SENSOR and or CAMSHAFT SENSOR (if applicable to your vehicle) adjusted properly and or one or both have failed and will require replacement.

If you replace BOTH these sensors, I would like to have your old ones as I will pay REASONABLE shipping charges as I rebuild these sensors.

Let me know.

Answer
NEVER EVER install any electronic component(s) until the source of your problem is corrected.

The RISK of swapping and trying parts can cause destruction to the TRIAL part(s) due to the fault with the original vehicle.

There is a strong probability that you mat have DESTROYED this other ecu and imobilizer.

Look for the crankshaft pulley to be located near the FLYWHEEL where the engine meets the transmission, Assuming this is a front wheel drive vehicle.

As I told you my daewoo experience is limited but I have been spending alot of time locating this information for you.

If you find a crank sensor, remove it and test the sensor with an OMH METER and look for resistance across the sensor terminals. If you do NOT have any, Replace the sensor.

OK back to the distributor differences in voltage outputs. Again, I would have to find some information on the distributor.

AGAIN, If there is a serious fault within the distributor, By installing the TRIAL ecu and imobilizer you may have DESTROYED these 2 units due to the distributor fault.

Let me know as it will take me some time to find distributor information.

Sometimes when you have to replace a part, I will ask you  if I can have the old part, As my son and I rebuild them and sell them for extra income. I will pay the shipping costs as long as it does not exceed $10.00.

I am alway in need of Car, Truck and SUV service manuals as well as MOTORS MANUALS and if you would like to donate any that you have, I will be more than happy to pay REASONABLE shipping to get them. I do not want any Chilton or Hayes manuals as I personally do not like them as the information contained in them is very mis-leading in my opinion.
