I really would like to give you the answer to your question but I cannot.

Brakes are a SAFETY ITEM and everytime you drive the vehicle your life and the lives of others depend on your brakes working perfectly EVERY TIME.

If I gave you any step by step instructions on how to diagnose the problem as well as procedures to make BRAKE repairs and you mis-interpret my instructions and you get into an accident, I could get sued for giving you information, Even though you did not follow my instructions TO THE LETTER and the cause of the accident was NO BRAKES.

So, Due to the possible legal risks I do NOT answer BRAKE questions for anyone.

I hope you can see my position on this and I can only suggest that you have a reputable reliable facility make the diagnosis and repair.

autohelp yes i understand the legal aspect of it but i dont want to know how to fix it i want to know how brakes work on this truck so i have a better idea of how my brakes could of failled im very commited know to   finding out how this could happen because this is very much a life safety issue if you cant answer how they work may be you can reccamend a link to another site thanks for your honesty hws

Answer
I don't know of another site that has this many dedicated professionals as this particular board has. As far as getting an in depth answer to your question, This is most unlikely as most professionals such as myself will give you the same answer that I have provided to you. Anyone who gives you advise on brake repair is either not a professional and or is endangering your life and the lives of others for any information that they give to you.

I can possibly give you some ideas of what can cause this problem but first I need to know the repair history of the vehicle. I mean EVERYTHING that was repired and or replaced on the vehicle from the engine to a light bulb.

awaiting your respone to the vehicles repair history.
