GMC Repair: miliage meter, gmc sierra, sierra truck

the miliage indicator on my 1990 GMC sierra truck has stopped turning. I noticed it today. What has happen? and how can I fix it? Thanks.

Hi felton. If your speedometer is working but your odometer is not working then you have a bad speedometer head. Reapir parts will be difficult to get, you will probably need to send it out thru your dealer and they will send it out for repair. Your other choice is an auto salvge yard, but the mileage will be off so you'll need to find a qualified technician to change the mileage to what your present odometer is reading.
