GMC Repair: car wont start, auto salvage yard, crank sensor

Question
92 buick lesabre-left the key turned in the on position. obviously, drained the battery and the car would not start. after a couple of days, put a charger on the battery and started the car. don't know if it's a coincidence, but as soon as i disconnected the charger-the car died. tried starting again, turns over but doesn't start. found out i don't have any spark. wondering what i should try replacing first? ignition control module, pick up coil, or coil packs. crank sensor and and fuel pump have been replaced about a year ago.

Answer
Hi Steve, you need to have the ignition system checked by a technician, it is usually expensive to fix a vehicle by throwing money at it, but if you want a quess, i would go to an auto salvage yard and get the igniton module complete with coils and try that. The best and quickest way to check this is with a lab scope and service manual with a wirind diagram.
