GMC Repair: steering and brakes and rear end, freeway speeds, dry pavement

i own a 97 gmc sierra 1500 pickup 4x4 350 auto trans.brakes go into antilock mode at low speed stops on dry pavement.power steering over boosts when i am driving at normal city or freeway speeds. what controls boost. is it the speed sencer in the trans.rear end makes a thumping noise.have a locking diff. rear end.truck has only 48000 miles on it.iam the org. owner  have herad storys of these problems on same year trucks. i seem to have all of them. how can i fix them.yours turly dave umnus (help)!! sorry about spelling.

Do you think my spilling is better! However dont't worry..
As I know, ABS system works only when it feels that the tire is slipping on the road, for example it happens with me when ever I pull breaks while driving on the sand...
Just check the sensors, you may find it behinde the wheels just inside the break system...
