Acura Repair: overheating/no heat, honda civic dx, coolant loss

Thanks for your help. However I would like to add some information such i recently discovered an invisible coolant loss. Forever, 2 months ago I had a random misfire which disappeared after 4 or 5 check engine light(2 weeks).

I hope this information would help you to tell me more about the causes of the trouble.

From time to time, my Honda civic DX-G 2003, overheats in heavy traffic while there is no heat inside the vehicle.
My technician could not identify the cause.

Overheating in heavy traffic with no heat inside tells me that the flow of coolant has stopped. Most likely is caused by a sticking thermostat

An ivisible coolant loss associated with a random misfire????
Possible to have a cracked head.
Check the spark plugs to see if they are burning good. Check for oil in the coolant or coolant in the oil.
Have the radiator checked for exhaust gases using a tool any mechanic should have.
If it is overheating in traffic, it could be coming out of the overflow bottle. so, make sure the cooling fan is working.
