American Motors: just bought a 1964 amc rambler classic, amc rambler, oil filter

vin# is G540183, on engine block # j173,  3168465, I understand its a 6 cyl the engine runs well but i was handed the oil filter on a bracket not mounted on engine the line directly below coming up is still there I cannot find the other line so i can re-attach the filter there are 2 lines coming out of the filter !! I know very little about this car but I want to restore it is and was a beauty! Thanks for any help you can give

I don't understand what your quesiion is.
Is there currently an oil filter on the engine? It should be located on the left front side of the engine on top, mounted vertically.
